Employee state insurance (ESI) is a scheme launched by the Government of India to provide workers with medical, financial, and other benefits. Any factory, business, or establishment that employs more than 10 people at a minimum wage of Rs. 21,000 is required to register with the ESIC (Employees State Insurance Corporation).
